Meet your chiropractor Dr. Jason Ellis
I didn’t find chiropractic. Chiropractic found me. I was 26 years old and enrolled in podiatry school when, one evening, I was hit by a police car as I was going through a traffic light. Lucky to be alive, a friend of mine suggested seeing a chiropractor after my auto accident. After seeing the chiropractor and receiving my first chiropractic adjustment, I knew straight away that I needed to be a chiropractor. I loved how I felt after being adjusted. I wanted to do the same for others. That’s what we do at Family Chiropractic and Wellness in Commerce Township, MI.
Qualifications
I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. As part of my training, I spent time overseas in Kathmandu, Nepal, where I adjusted hundreds of people per day. After graduating, I’ve developed several successful practices in Madison Heights, Farmington Hills, Jackson, and my newest venture in Commerce Township, MI.
After learning a technique in school called Activator Methods, I knew this was my calling. It’s a technique that utilizes a low-force chiropractic instrument to make gentle, precise chiropractic adjustments. Most patients love that they don’t need to get their neck or back “cracked” during the adjustment. This procedure is very comfortable and effective.
I focus on chiropractic care for the entire family. From infants to the elderly, I love adjusting to a variety of patients. I’ve been successful in treating sciatica, neck and back pain, migraine headaches, sexual dysfunction, and many more issues. By freeing up small misalignments in the spine, referred to as a "Subluxation," I am able to help people get out of pain and improve their health.
Chiropractic is my passion and my love. It’s funny how they say we’ll look back at this, and it will seem funny. I am so happy and privileged to be a chiropractor.
I look forward to serving your needs in the future. Thank you.
Yours in health,
Dr. Ellis
